Window decals can be one of the most effective marketing tools for any business. It's important to use them in the most creative and efficient ways possible to maximize your exposure. Never hesitate to experiment so long as you keep window decal marketing basics such as those listed below in mind. Try the following window decal marketing ideas to jazz up your window decal marketing campaign instantly without taking your eye off the prize. Eye-catching graphics
The first step in successful window decal marketing is to get noticed, and the best way to do this is with striking graphics your customers can't ignore. Bright, contrasting colours, clever images that seem out of place with their environments, and humorous depictions are great ways to draw customers' eyes to your window decal design. Creative placement Another way to get attention is to creatively place your window decals in unexpected locations. You might, for example, place window decals on mirrors over restroom sinks. The key to hitting a home run with this type of window decal marketing is to be both clever and relevant to your customer and your cause. Thus, a disposable toothbrush brand might distribute window decals on men's restroom stall mirrors that depict a woman repulsed by her beau's dragon breath alongside a pitch for their products. Repetition is critical A single window cling might convert a few customers, but repetition will bring the masses to you. Make sure your window clings are distributed everywhere you can in order to have the widest reach for your target audience and also remind them about your brand every chance you get. What's more, you should coordinate your window cling marketing with a comprehensive marketing campaign that also consists of materials such as posters, flyers, and postcards. When you launch a campaign across several mediums, you have the opportunity to take advantage of repetition in short order. You'll make potential customers feel that you're everywhere – and that everyone is using your products, so they should try them, too. Don't shun marketing basics Aside from your initial attention-getting strategy, your window decal marketing campaign should follow basic marketing tenets. Strong headlines that make a point are important, as is demonstrating your product or service benefits (either in text or in the image, or both). You also need a call to action to motivate customers to take the next step in the purchasing process, as well as contact information such as a phone number or web URL so they know where to go to take the next step. Space is often at a premium on window decals, but that doesn't mean you can't make a limited-time discount offer or include some sort of tracking mechanism, such as a coupon code, to gauge the return on investment of your window decal marketing campaigns. Print premium window decals Last but not least, you need to print your window decals on premium marketing materials that have strong clinging power and fade-resistant inks. This increases the longevity of your window decals so you can use them for extended periods or seasonally, time and again, year after year, so you get the most bang for your buck. The good news is that good online printing companies like Asset Print offer quality window decal printing at incredibly affordable prices. Article from https://printingcapetown.wordpress.com/2021/07/12/window-decal-marketing-ideas-tips/ How custom stickers can help build your business Are you starting a business on a low budget or looking for a creative way to boost your branding? Then custom stickers can help. Custom vinyl sticker printing is different from labels and a great way to get your brand in front of new customers and advertise in new markets with minimal investment. Stickers are an easy way to get your brand in front of new customers by sharing them in fun environments in a more casual way versus traditional marketing methods. Check out the following 10 ways you can use custom stickers to promote your business and get some inspiration. 1. Give custom stickers as a gift Whether you sell goods online or in-store or operate a service business, consider giving custom stickers as a loyalty gift or as a gift with purchase. Custom printed stickers by Asset Print are a fun surprise-and-delight for your customers. Include a quirky or inspirational message that showcases your brand’s personality for extra engagement. Or create personalized stickers that your clients will love sticking everywhere. They’re great as stickers for laptops, stickers for cars, stickers for water bottles and anything your customers can think of. 2. Hand out stickers A great way to generate traffic at your trade show booth is to hand out branded stickers with funny sayings or cool designs that are relevant to attendees and the industry. Custom vinyl stickers will make your business stand out from other vendors and they’re a unique giveaway that attendees can apply to personal belongings or pass on to friends and family, organically marketing your business in the future. 3. Sell your stickers as branded merchandise Impulse purchases at the register or checkout are a great way to increase order value. If you have a retail store, place custom stickers with unique slogans toward the end of the aisle near the register where customers are most likely to make a last-second purchase. If you sell on an eCommerce site, consider a dedicated accessory section where you can feature low-cost stickers for consumers to add to their cart when checking out. This can also help customers reach any free shipping thresholds you might have while it increases order values. Using custom stickers that showcase your brand personality can increase your bottom line when used correctly as an impulse buy. If you’re stumped for design ideas, hire a freelance graphic designer to provide some fun design inspiration for you at a low cost. Or check out these free sticker designs that you can personalize your way in minutes. 4. Give out stickers at grand openings & special events Are you throwing a grand opening or a special event to drive additional traffic to your store? Then give away stickers along with samples of your products as a free gift to help market your business and products. A free sample and gift can go a long way to securing a new customer. They let consumers emotionally connect with your brand because you have given them things for free right off the bat. It also lets potential customers test out your products, while the custom stickers help communicate the look and feel of your brand. It’s also a very inexpensive way of marketing your business to many people at once. 5. Apply brand stickers to personal items Use custom sticker printing as additional branding in your store. Adhere logo stickers to various items in-store so that customers see your brand as they are shopping. Whether on your cash register, your office door or the tip jar, let the stickers be seen by others and do the marketing for you. Also, add your branded stickers to personal items that you, your family, and friends carry around on a daily basis. Add stickers to thermal water bottles, laptops, notebooks, car windows, bumpers, and luggage. The more your stickers are seen, the more brand awareness you create. 6. Create goodwill with employees Give your employees custom stickers to use themselves and to give away. Let them place the stickers where they choose to help promote the company and brand. Soon you will see your company’s brand displayed on bottles, computers, bags, and other work items. It’s also great for improving company culture and pride. 7. Give out custom bumper stickers Promote your company with custom bumper stickers that can be handed out at events, in-store, or packaged in product shipments. It’s an incredibly low-cost way to share your brand or just to give your customers a special gift. And if consumers apply the bumper stickers to their vehicles, it’s free advertising that can reach areas much further than you anticipated. It’s a simple, cheap way to build brand awareness. For example, if you own a pet-sitting or dog-walking business, order cute personalized bumper or window stickers of your clients’ pets and give them as a thank-you for using your service. Your client will likely put that bumper sticker on their car, refrigerator, laptop, or water bottle, a constant reminder to use your service again. 8. Add stickers to packaging If you operate an eCommerce business that ships a lot of packages, use custom stickers on the inside and outside of the box to showcase your brand and message. A QR code sticker or a custom sticker with your company info on the outside of the box lets your customers know instantly that the package is from you. On the inside of your shipment, add a sticker that features your social media handles and contact details to engage your customer. As a bonus, include a fun sticker that they’ll share on social media to show how much they love your products. 9. Apply stickers to storefront windows Apply custom vinyl stickers to your store windows and doors that are visible to customers walking by. They stick and stay for up to 9 months outside without fading. And they remove with no residue. Window stickers reinforce your branding to window shoppers, and if you create a sticker with a catchy saying or slogan, you may find them coming into your store to purchase the stickers themselves. Custom stickers are inexpensive and easy to personalize so you can change up your messages to follow current trends or popular causes. 10. Put stickers on floors & doors
Add stickers to floors and doors as an unexpected way to draw people’s attention. While floor decals are popular for safety and directional messaging, they can be a great way to engage customers. Point out directions to fun, new products, or sale items. Or add fun sayings to keep your customers smiling while shopping. With non-slip vinyl floor decals, you can customize signs for your business and order online in minutes. No matter what you decide, stickers can be used in a variety of ways. Whether to grab someone’s attention as they pass by, to surprise customers with a small gift, or to hand out at a trade show or event, stickers are a great vehicle to create awareness for your business, at a fraction of the cost of other marketing tactics. Article sourced from https://www.avery.com/ Printed flyers are as effective as they are affordable and you can really maximise their effect if you use a few tried and tested techniques when it comes to flyer design. Printed flyers have been around for as long as we can remember. That’s because printing flyers is cost-effective. Flyers are also very adaptable and they work. If you’re thinking of flyer printing there are a few tried and tested design techniques you can follow. Have a look below and see how our flyer design tips can help you get the results you require.
1. Catch the eye – IMMEDIATELY! We know, we know. Sounds obvious, doesn’t it? However, the truth is that we see so many posters, leaflets and other advertising that it takes something really special to grab our attention. Think of that poster that held your gaze and turned your head or the flyer you stopped to look at and put in your pocket. What was different about them? Use a witty or provocative headline, a unique image or contrasting colours to help your flyer rise above the marketing chatter. 2. Tell people what’s so good about you Advertisers know that for any campaign to work they need to answer one main question for consumers – “What can you do for me?” Make sure your flyers mention the benefits of using your business. You’re asking people not only to buy from you but to choose you over your competitors, so tell them why they should do so. 3. Keep it short – snappy – direct When designing artwork and writing text for your printed flyer, remember its purpose is to deliver a high impact message that’s easy to remember. Flyers are not the place to talk about your business or its history. Get straight to the point to get the very best from your flyer. 4. Go big on branding Every piece of marketing from stickers, flyers and leaflets to posters or even business stationery is an opportunity to grow your brand. The more people see your name and logo the more credible your business becomes. 5. Don’t forget a clear call to action Again, it sounds obvious but many flyers don’t make it clear what they want the reader to do apart from reading the flyer. Before you send your flyer or leaflet for printing make sure it has clear contact details and a call to action like “Call now” or “Visit our store today”. Put simply, people are much more likely to contact you or go to a store or venue if you tell them to rather than just letting know them where it is. Asset Print offers professional printing at excellent prices, including on printed flyers. Everything from flyers, leaflets and booklets to business cards or 48 sheet posters can be delivered when and where you need them – even the next day. . . . Article from https://thedigitalprintshop.blogspot.com/2021/05/these-flyer-tips-are-fantastic.html We all know about business cards, posters, flyers and websites, but how many of us invest time in reaping the rewards of the vehicle branding?
Many people don’t want to put branding on their cars, but after reading these benefits, you might just change your mind if you are looking to gain more exposure for your brand. Here are some of the top Vehicle Vehicle Branding Benefits: It’s attention-grabbing If you do your branding the right way, it will be colourful, designed attractively and is bound to grab the attention of all the other drivers on the road whether it be at a Stop, a red robot or simply while driving. They will see it and most likely remember it if it was striking and unique. You can reach a wider audience If you have a fair amount of branded vehicles driving around in different areas at different times, you can be assured to get your brand name out there on a much larger scale than you would with the general advertising methods. This will in turn also expand the parameters of where your customers come from. It’s a non-aggressive form of advertising Many people get annoyed with pop-ads on their screens or radio ads that seem to never end – unlike those scenarios, vehicle branding is non-interrupting and therefore causes no interference to the person’s day whatsoever. Your message will be easily spotted and enjoyed by most by-passers. Vehicle branding is cost-effective Other forms of advertising such as billboards can work out to be very expensive, but changing your vehicle wrap through Asset Print can save you a lot of money while giving you a lot of exposure. It is great for local advertising Ultimately the people who will see the most of your branding are those that live in the same area as you and they are more likely to become loyal customers – people love supporting local business, so why not get your brand recognized amongst those in your area? A form of protection is offered Best believe that using vehicle branding/ wrapping services can offer a form of protection from things such as scratches and small dents, but besides that, when the wrapping is removed, the paint of your car won’t be damaged at all. It sets a professional tone With the right branding done, you can set the tone for your business to those on and around the roads – may it be professional or more casual, you can lure in the targeted audience very easily with this form of marketing. As you can see from the above-mentioned vehicle branding benefits, it is a great idea to get your vehicle wrapping done if you are looking to gain more brand awareness for your company and won’t cost you an arm and a leg to do so. 1. One of the earliest stickers, the postage stamp dates from 1839 when Sir Rowland Hill created an adhesive paper for the purpose. 2. In the 1880s pre-printed paper, bonded using animal glue, was used to advertise goods. 3. Now antiques, examples of the first sticky labels from the 1880s can reach up to £3,000 at auction! 4. The term ‘record label’ originates from the circular label in the centre of a vinyl record which identified its manufacturer. Columbia is thought to be the oldest and was founded in 1887. 5. In 1939, R. Stanton Avery invented the first self-adhesive label, also known as the modern sticker that we now use in everyday life, using parts from a washing machine and sewing machine and a sabre saw. We still have plenty of fun facts about labels - so check back again with us soon! If you want quality printed labels - be sure to get in touch with Asset Print! Article from https://printperfection.postach.io/post/labels-series-interesting-facts-part-2 By now, millennials are used to finding out everything online and the contact details of someone I've previously met is no exception. A quick search of Google or LinkedIn would normally provide you with a fast way to message most people in your industry. So you'd be forgiven for thinking millennials have lost interest in business cards. Actually, this is not true - I think that they can be really great! Here are some really fantastic examples of business cards that would draw me in and make me want to keep hold of them. So I thought I'd share them for anyone who is trying to attract a millennial audience and needs a bit of inspiration. These business cards have been created by Primoprint and I love them! If I received one of these, I can guarantee I would be interested because of how creative they are, how different they are from a 'traditional' business card. The holographic effect goes nicely with the white background as there's nothing to distract from it. The extra detail of having the holographic portion raised slightly also gives it that extra flare. Elegante Press definitely made these business cards stand out for their client, Norwegian illustrator, Kristin Tørå Rantanen. To start with, the cards were printed on cotton paper rather than traditional card stock, meaning even from touching this card you would know there was something more interesting about it. Along with this, they used letterpress which adds to the interesting texture of the product and they included no colour, purposefully. The intention was that the cards could be left blank, or could be hand-painted by the client herself if she wanted to do so. This meant that the cards could be given a personalized feel (and in this day and age, everybody wants personalized - especially the younger generation!) allowing each one to have a different feel. I personally love how this company used a different shape to the usual rectangle, it really makes it stand out and I’d definitely take notice of this. This business card was made by Chomp when they wanted to create a literal interpretation of their name within their cards. They chose to have a corner of their business card removed in the shape of a bite mark, to mimic this having been 'chomped' off. Don't you think this idea is great? The simplicity of the rest of the card makes the 'bitten' part stand out even more as it's what the eye is directly drawn to, leaving the rest of the card to be read afterwards. In general, I think younger audiences are more accepting of non-traditional designs and are more likely to be attracted by something new and exciting. When business cards don't portray much about the company apart from who they are and how to contact them, there's nothing about them that really grabs my attention. But when they express some brand personality or hint at what the business does without having to read the card, it's more likely to spark my interest! Ravel Logo and Brand Design created a unique business card for Feelme Crew who mainly work with video filming and editing. To help make them stand out in a competitive industry, they created a business card with lots of personalities. They played with designs and managed to create this amazing one which also has the ability to move on the top section like a real clapperboard. This is sure to turn some heads! Something different from all the rest of these is a business card offered by Formink. One of their designs is a translucent plastic business card and they created some for Adler and Adler illustrations. Using a different material, in my opinion, is super interesting and is a great way of attracting the attention of younger audiences! The text has been kept plain and the images are in metallic silver which looks great against the transparent background. They are also rounded on the edges which again, is not traditional but looks great, giving them another reason to stand out above the rest.
If you want business cards that others find interesting, or which would attract people's attention due to their originality and design - be sure to have them printed professionally at a reliable business card printer like Asset Print. Article sourced from: https://consolidatedlabel.com/ IMPORTANT TYPES OF LABEL AND STICKER MATERIALS
Labelling is an important aspect of branding. It helps make identification of things easier. Have you ever wondered, why not all labels look the same? This is because they are made from different materials. What are these materials? 1. Industrial Vinyl: This is a suitable material for outdoor labels. Most good quality industrial vinyl materials offer 9-11 years of resistance from UV radiations. Also, labels made from these materials are chemical and weather resistant. The material offers excellent flexibility, which makes it ideal for application on sharply curved surfaces, as well as rivets. Vinyl labels are typically used for pipeline labels, rental equipment, fleet decals, and cable tray labels. 2. Polyester: The polyester labels come in several types and shapes. The most popular option is a metalised look, which offers a chrome finish or mirror-like perfection. Sometimes it is confused with stainless steel. This material is suitable for outdoor and indoor applications, and ideal for labelling control pipes and panels. Most polyester labels can easily withstand harsh operating conditions or weather conditions and equipped with a long-lasting adhesive. Various popular choices exist for polyester materials, such as chrome or mirror-like finish, which looks like stainless steel. 3. Polypropylene Labels: These labels are considered ideal replacements for vinyl labels and provide excellent solvent resistance, which make them great for all types of bottle labels. Polypropylene labels are affordable than polyester labels, and they offer better clarity. These labels are distinguished on the basis of their coating, adhesive, and colours. The following are some popular types of these labels: i) Chrome (Silver) BOPP Labels: This label material is oil and water-resistant, and has a mirror-like finish. ii) Clear BOPP Labels: These are clear polypropylene (BOPP) material. This material offers the same properties as chrome silver labels, such as water resistance. Clear BOPP labels are well-suited for window stickers. iii)Removable White BOPP Labels: These labels have less adhesive than regular BOPP labels. iv) White BOPP Labels: The labels have a permanent adhesive, and is impervious to water or oils. These labels are ideal for body and bath products, and several food products and as water bottle labels. 4. Recycled Labels: As the name suggests, these labels are created from 100% recycled material. It is a #55 paper material, which is an ideal option if earthy appearance is desired. Kraft labels are not suited for lamination, hence are not water or oil resistant. These labels are ideal for machine applications. The label must be removed in hot water. Vellum labels and Kraft labels are the popular types of recycled labels in use today. 5. Satin Labels: These labels are basically satin acetate cloth labels, which are ideal for spirit or wine labels. Satin labels will add a beautiful dimension to your product packaging. It is also ideal for holiday gifting purposes. 6. Fluorescent Paper Labels: These labels are flood coated on the synthetic material. Most fluorescent and foil paper labels are available in colours like red, pink, orange, and green. The labels of this type are used for alerting people. 7. Foil Paper Labels: Foil paper labels are available in dull, bright, silver, or gold. These Labels are generally used as holiday or food stickers. Article source: https://thedigitalprintshop.blogspot.com/2020/08/assembling-your-teardrop-flag.html As digital printing enthusiasts, we like to read and share all things related to printing. The printing business in Cape Town is highly competitive, which is why these commandments are so important.
---------------------------------------------------------------------- Juan Señor, President of global media consultancy Innovation Consulting, gives his ten pressing concerns for print. 1_PRINT DEAD? JUST A FABLE…As new technologies arise, we love to conjure up and highlight fables, including the idea that print is dead. It’s not. The notion that one medium kills another is simply not true. If print were a platform, I’d say ‘Yes, it’s dead. RIP print,” because there’s no language there, no medium. But print as a medium has permanence. It’s eternal. 2_PRINT WILL FIND ITS PLACEWhen films arrived many years ago, there was talk that theatre would die. But what we saw was a transition through disruption. We’ve seen this repeatedly throughout history – and for 25 years or more in digital. It also applies to print. We’ve transported this successful, text-based medium online, and once digital finally finds its own language, print will rediscover its future within that mix. 3_DISPLACEMENT BEATS REPLACEMENTFirst comes disruption, then displacement. The web has managed to move into the newspaper space and newspapers have moved into the magazine space. The fact is, you can’t keep flogging the same, tired old horse and not reinvent your product. 4_PREMIUM MEANS PRICIERWithin the print space, the ‘play’ is to make it ever-more premium. Take Versace. It produces very few dresses in the £100,000 price bracket, yet these remain its flagship product. Print has to be reinvented as the premium choice, to have beautiful design, in a larger format, and be a keepsake. And premium must be pricier. 5_FLAT IS THE NEW UPEverybody’s talking about the decline in print circulations. And yes, they will decline. Anybody who pretends they won’t is either naïve or nostalgic. But they’re not falling off a cliff edge. Eventually, circulations will flatten out at a stable, but still lucrative, level. 6_LESS OFTEN, MORE ‘LEAN BACK’The big, complicated, ever-evolving issue, particularly for newspapers, is frequency. Take FT Weekend. It’s a delicious, quality product that’s perfect for print. It arrives on a Friday and you spend the entire weekend reading it. You hear about the ‘lean-back experience’, but if you’re going to succeed, you have to provide something that’s genuinely ‘lean back’, like the FT Weekend. 7_BRAND BUILDING? USE PRINTIt’s not great for clients to have their brands associated with fake news, so the leading industry voices are singing print’s praises. For brand finding, digital trumps print every time. But for brand building, when you’re relaunching an entire proposition, print wins. 8_THE DIGITAL FRENZY IS ABSURDAs P&G’s Marc Pritchard has said, the misguided flip to digital spending isn’t working. This cycle needs to be rebalanced, because it’s evident that many millions of pounds aren’t performing. And they’re not performing because there’s this tremendous fraud. You may reach a million people, but you will reach a million people for a quarter of a second, as opposed to 100,000 for 10 or 20 seconds. 9_PRINT UNDERPINS CAMPAIGNSWhen it comes to awards, the traditional categories for print and publishing are getting reframed not because advertising interest in those categories is dying. We should be looking at the fact that many campaigns are now integrated and, in many cases, anchored in prestigious print work. 10_TAKE THE FIGHT TO THE DUOPOLYWe’ve been playing defence for far too long. Google and Facebook have cornered £70bn of ad space globally, but their longevity is not guaranteed. Print has an important role to fill as the situation evolves, and if that means anchoring more campaigns in paper, so be it. Article source: https://www.twosides.info/UK/the-10-commandments-of-print/ No matter how good your creative concepts are, it is the printing that gives justice to your designs. That is why it is important to set the correct resolution, colors, and format of your custom posters. This Poster Printing Guide will help you put together the ultimate movie, concert, or any events poster you need. Check out these Movie Poster Background Vectors that you can use in making your own posters. These posters have a different feel to it with a minimal style you can enjoy adding more elements to make it more customized. CAMERA RESOLUTION FOR POSTER PRINTING Digital pictures are made up of tiny colored dots called pixels. The more dots in the picture, the higher the resolution; therefore, the larger pictures you can print. The maximum resolution of a digital camera is usually measured in millions of pixels called megapixels (MP). Camera pictures are going to be bitmapped images, made of lots of individual pixels. To ensure your picture looks good when you print it full sized on a poster, it pays to do a little calculation. Set your camera for the highest possible resolution. If you lower the resolution of a picture you can’t get high resolution prints of your photo. Printers are still largely measuring print resolution in dots per inch (dpi); a dot is essentially a pixel. An old, low end fax machine might be 200 dots per inch; a laser printer might be 1,200 dots per inch. 300 dots per inch is usually considered an acceptable resolution for printing. The 300 dpi rule is important for material that will be examined closely, but the further away people are while looking at your work, the less necessary it is to have high resolution images. The rule of thumb that I’ve seen in commercial printing is 100 dpi for every ten feet away you intend to view the picture. Dot/inch – Pixel/inch Conversion Table 1 dpi = 1 ppi 2 dpi = 2 ppi 3 dpi = 3 ppi 4 dpi = 4 ppi 5 dpi = 5 ppi 6 dpi = 6 ppi 7 dpi = 7 ppi 8 dpi = 8 ppi 9 dpi = 9 ppi 10 dpi = 10 ppi 11 dpi = 11 ppi 12 dpi = 12 ppi 13 dpi = 13 ppi 14 dpi = 14 ppi 15 dpi = 15 ppi 16 dpi = 16 ppi 17 dpi = 17 ppi 18 dpi = 18 ppi 19 dpi = 19 ppi 20 dpi = 20 ppi 21 dpi = 21 ppi 22 dpi = 22 ppi 23 dpi = 23 ppi 24 dpi = 24 ppi 25 dpi = 25 ppi 26 dpi = 26 ppi 27 dpi = 27 ppi 28 dpi = 28 ppi 29 dpi = 29 ppi 30 dpi = 30 ppi CMYK COLOR MODE CMYK and RGB CMYK or Cyan, Magenta, Yellow and Key (black) are colors used in printing. These inks reflect the light on the substrate they are applied on. RGB (red, green, blue), on the other hand, are used in electronic devices as these absorb the light to display colors. CMYK inks are combined to create a gamut of colors. This said, you have to convert the color mode in your desktop or laptop from RGB to CMYK to get more precise color match of your poster layout to the printed copy. Here is an example of the RGB image converted to CMYK. Notice how they differ in color: Image in RGB format Here are steps on how to set up CMYK color mode in different designing programs: Photoshop 1. In starting a new project, select CMYK for the color mode. If you’re working with an existing file, select the following menu options: Image—Mode—CMYK. 2. Check how your files are going to look by turning on the “CMYK preview” mode. 3. Do not make change color modes repeatedly because every time you switch, you lose image quality and multiple shifts will reflect on the clarity of your final design. Illustrator 1. Select File—Document color mode—CMYK color. 2. Stick to CMYK and Grayscale color models. 3. When working with Pantone colors, make sure that you convert them into CMYK mode or leave them as spot colors to be able to print spot color inks. Quark Express 1. Use the following menu options: Edit—Edit Colors—Show Colors in Use—Highlight Color and click Edit. Work around the “Edit Colors” dialog box. 2. Change model to CMYK and deselect Spot color. Use only CMYK model and Pantone coated model ink definitions. 3. Control carefully the colors to be separated into CMYK and which should remain as spot colors. It’s quite challenging to convert colors in Quark. Be mindful that not all RGB colors can be converted to CMYK. This is because there are RGB colors that are out of the CMYK array. When this happens, the closest CMYK shade to that specific RGB color is used. (Make sure you give the CMYK converted file to your trusted printing company as these services normally don’t cover color conversion.) Bulk or Large Format Posters Advanced digital poster printers, like Asset Print have enabled high quality printing of posters on different paper sizes. There used to be limited paper options produced on these machines, but now you can customize poster sizes from 8″ x 8″ to 120” x 59”. There are two types of digital poster printing — bulk and large format. There are two types of images based on file types Bitmap images are made up of colored dots or pixels in a grid. Pixels are tiny dots of individual color that make up what you see on your screen. All these tiny dots of color create the images you see. It is also known as raster images. The resolution of raster images are dependent and resizing affects the image quality. An example of bitmap image is a scanned photo. Example of bitmap formats are .bmp, .jpeg and .psd. Vector Images are composed of lines and shapes with different attributes such as color, fill and outline. These objects are defined by mathematical equations rather than pixels, so they always render at the highest quality. Its resolution is independent and scaling or resizing the images will not affect its quality or resolution. It has smaller file size but we don’t advise this file format for posters that serve as photo-realistic reproduction. These are the common file types used in poster printing: File Extensions Description/Program Used .jpg or .jpeg Standard format for photographic image compression developed by the Joint Photographic Experts Group .psd Bitmap file created using Adobe Photoshop .ai Adobe Illustrator drawing or vector graphics file .eps Encapsulated postscript image file created using Adobe Illustrator; designed for high resolution printing of illustrations; standard file format for importing and exporting PostScript files .cdr Corel Draw Vector drawing file .tiff Tag Image File Format; preferred bitmap graphics format for high-resolution postscript printing .indd InDesign Document from Adobe Systems Portable Document File from Adobe Acrobat .pub Document file associated with Microsoft Publisher RECOMMENDED CAMERA MEGAPIXELS FOR DIFFERENT POSTER SIZES If you are planning to make a poster out of a photo, remember that the megapixels (1 megapixel = 1 million pixels) in your camera determine image clarity — more pixels, higher resolution. Meaning, there is also maximum print sizes you can achieve for given number of megapixels. CHOOSING PAPER TYPE FOR POSTERS Paper type is important for posters because it defines the overall appearance of your prints. Posters are commonly glossy to make the design colors vibrant; the luster makes prints attractive even from afar. However, matte is a good choice if you want to use unconventional finish for posters. Paper Types for Posters: High Gloss Has the widest color range for vibrant colors Too much glare – not advisable for locations with bright lighting conditions Shows fingerprints (but can easily be wiped off without ruining the print) Semi-Gloss Most popular type for posters Glossy paper with reduced gloss compared to UV or high gloss paper Fewer fingerprints smudges Matte Has the least sheen among the three types Elegant finish No evident fingerprint smudges Article from https://www.uprinting.com/blog/everything-you-need-to-know-in-printing-custom-poster/ Networking, marketing, and leadership experts lay out what makes an effective business card, business card style taboos, and the importance of design versus delivery. Two factors you should balance regarding your business card strategy are a unique design and an engaging delivery. A snazzy card is no good if you hand it out left and right without an exchange of pleasantries and ideas, but a poor quality card can undermine even the best rapport or the most persuasive conversation.
"The card is designed as a way of following up with someone about a topic the person is genuinely interested in, so that requires some sensitivity," says Seth Kahan, CEO of Visionary Leadership, a Bethesda, Maryland-based management consulting firm. "You can be proactive but you don't want to be aggressive." Learn more about business card alternatives, how to tailor your card to different desired outcomes, and what information must appear on your card. How to Choose the Best Business Card for Your Company: Making Your Card Effective For Sean Kinney, the owner of Digital Fresh, a New York City-based marketing and communications firm, the most important qualities for his business card were that it be memorable and that it be sharable. Kinney can speak with some authority on the latter subject; his card was so sharable that it was not only passed from hand to hand, but photos of it got picked up online including in Inc.'s "10 Most Creative Business Cards" slideshow. Kinney's first thought about how to make his card unique was to use atypical materials. His sleek metal card is shaped like a razor blade, as a result of some serious brainstorming about how to encapsulate the company's identity. In fact, Kinney feels that unless your card can make a strong statement about who you are, you might as well not have one. He says, "there's a lot of people who just have [business cards] to have them and they're generic and simple; I don't think they hurt or help them." Another tactic to make your card more effective is to tailor it to different situations or needs. For example, Kahan has two broad groups of clients: those that hire him for speaking engagements and more straight-laced government agencies. His card reflects that dichotomy. "I actually created two different sides to my business card: one side is very colorful and intense [with photos and] I've got this light pattern there. It's eye-catching," he says. "The other side is modelled on a very straight, old-fashioned business card. It's just black and white, just the facts." You would also design your card differently if your business provides a product or a service. If you sell a product you might have a link pointing to your online storefront, or an image of the product or a tagline about it. You approach the act of telling a narrative about yourself and your company differently if you're selling a service, according to Kahan. You'd want to "typify or convey through a story what it is that someone can expect when they follow up with the person on the card." How to Choose the Best Business Card for Your Company: Design Versus Delivery Obviously designers believe that a card's aesthetics are of primary importance and networkers will tell you the same is true for what you say and how you get the card in the other person's hand. Bonnie Ross-Parker, for example, will not hand over her card unsolicited. If the CEO of The Joy of Connecting, an Atlanta-based networking consultancy for women entrepreneurs, believes there's a genuine connection with someone she meets, she'll ask for their card and if they don't ask to exchange it might not make sense to anyway. "Coming home with 30 or 40 cards is not nearly as effective as having half a dozen [that were from] really good quality conversations were having the business card and the ability to reconnect was important to you," Ross Parker says. "I think people miss that." Similarly, Kahan believes that context is king. Handing out the same exact business card can result in a positive or negative experience depending on the interpersonal interaction that takes place. "The way you give it out overrides what it is," he says. But Kinney is inclined to disagree. He thinks design is 90 percent of the battle and delivery a mere 10 percent. "If you have a memorable business card you can just leave them on a table and people will take them and keep them," he says. One way to make your card memorable is to have it reflect your business in some intuitive and engaging way. Kinney gives the example of creative ideas he's come across such as a barbershop with cards shaped like scissors, and a landscaping company with Astroturf-backed cards. These types of cards aren't as wallet-friendly as a more traditional card but hope is that it will say what your business does at first glance and it will be tactile and new enough for the person to want to keep it around. However, Kinney acknowledges that these types of cards are not for everyone. Depending on what line of work you're in, and even your personality you may want a more traditional design. "When there's multiple employees you have to take that into consideration, but when it's just you and it's a small business, you should look at it from the aspect of representing yourself first and then the business in parallel with that," he says. How to Choose the Best Business Card for Your Company: What to Include So you have limited space to represent yourself above and beyond any networking conversations that you'll have with the people you meet. What should stay and what should go? The consensus is that your name, company name, title, phone number and e-mail address are the bare minimum. Some crucial additions, if you have the resources, are your company logo and your Web address. Physical address is increasingly less relevant though in some industries it might still be advisable to include. You'll also want to adapt it to your industry, for example, if you're in the social media marketing field, you might include links to your accounts on various platforms. As a consultant, Kahan is selling himself, and his book, so he prefers personal business cards, which include a picture of both on his card. "I'm a visual kind of person and I like to have a visual image of the person [I met] because, when I call someone back, I like to see their face and this is one way for me to do that," he says. In addition, as the popularity of card scanners grow, you'll want to make sure your card is scanner friendly. Here's some other options to consider: • Don't place text over images • If included, keep images simple • Avoid shading, italics or underlining • Use a clear, readable font such as Times New Roman or Helvetica • Make sure there's enough space between different lines on the card so they remain legible • Use a quality and reliable digital printer, like Asset Print, to design a professional business card for you. How to Choose the Best Business Card for Your Company: Avoid Style Taboos The same way you wouldn't walk into an important meeting with your shirt untucked and your tie askew, you should make sure to avoid grievous style faux pas in your business card's design. Here are some aesthetic choices to avoid: • Don't be Cheap - "I will not do business with anyone who has a business card that says 'printed free by Vistaprint,'" Ross-Parker says. It looks unprofessional if you're not willing to invest anything in making a good impression. • Being Unoriginal - Even if you don't have a fat wad of cash to spend on your business card you shouldn't get a template because it's less memorable and less effective. • Don't go for Shock Value - "I've seen business cards that really are like shock value business cards," Kahan says. "I used to do street theatre and the first thing that you have to do when you do street theatre is you have to get somebody who's on their way somewhere else to stop and look at you. The easiest way to do that is to just do something really bizarre. That will work, people will stop and look at you, but if what you want is engagement, and if what you want is a follow-up, then there's a different set of rules that you have to follow." • Don't Laminate It - A surface that the recipient of the card can write on makes it easier for them to take notes on your meeting to help remember it. • Don't Overcrowd It - Some people get business cards that fold out just so they can squeeze some extra information on the card but you're better served by keeping it simple. "I don't like when it's so busy that people are trying to get all the information all in one place at one time," says Ross-Parker. "That's tacky." . . . . . . Article source: https://www.inc.com/guides/2010/06/best-business-cards.html Think of your company as a human being. The name of the company is the name of the person and the brand, made up of your logo and the tag line is the face. Unlike real life, you get to choose a face for your company so make sure it is one that will serve you well. Choosing the wrong face or messing with that face too often will create a poor or confusing impression with your target market. A little nip and tuck here and there is ok but choose wisely. Here are a few tips on how to best manage your brand.

Article source: https://printingcapetown.wordpress.com/2020/02/28/brand-image-more-important-than-you-may-think/ There’s something about a row of mini flags strung across a room, that makes me feel instantly cheery. I have bunting hanging in my living room year-round, I top every birthday cake I make with mini bunting, and last week, I even made 15 metres of washi tape bunting flags, to cordon off our tent circle at a festival. Yep, I love the stuff. But I know, over the last few years, with so many brides and grooms going bonkers for bunting, it has been a tad overdone. So I’ve scoured the coolest blogs and prettiest pins to find you new ways to ‘buntify’ your wedding, and still wow your guests… 1. Reams and Reams The easiest way to ensure your hard-sewn bunting makes a big impact is to create reams of the stuff. The odd strand of bunting here and there can look rather limp, and not very thought out, but stringing line after line of cheery flags will create a party canopy that amps up the festive atmosphere no end. 2. Washi tape Washi tape is a super handy tool for creating quirky mini bunting in no time at all. Mix and match colours and cuts for a whimsical look. Use as an adornment for everything from your cakes to your cocktails, or leave it long and have it hanging overhead. 3. Sweet Scalloping Skip the classic triangles, and opt for some curved bunting instead. It creates a really pretty scalloped effect when it’s all hanging close together, and gives a unique and much softer finish to your venue. 4. Hanging Handkerchiefs If you want to create some truly unique bunting for your wedding, vintage handkerchiefs are the way to do it. Ask your friends and family to keep their eyes peeled at charity shops and flea markets in the lead up to your wedding, or donate their own old ones to your day. Not only do they look so pretty and add a bespoke vintage feel, but if you peg instead of stitching them, your old hankies can also double up as sweet favours as well! 5. Rags and Ribbons Tassel garland has been enjoying its moment in the spotlight, adorning dessert tables everywhere. But rather than crepe paper or streamers, make a hardier version for some bunting-style garland instead. Using strips of fabric and ribbon in complementary colours, create some super simple, yet seriously statement bunting to adorn your big day. 6. Fun with Fabrics Floral prints and gingham have long been the bunting patterns du jour but playing around with tones, textures and fabrics will give your bunting a revamped look. Pair burlap, lace and tweed together for a look that’s both new and nostalgic. 7. Papel Picado Mexican style bunting, aka Papel Picado, is fun, cool, and oh-so-stylish. Really easy to DIY, you can also pick up more ornate laser-cut or personalised versions online. Choose bright colours for a wild fiesta theme or keep it chic with some all-while styles. 8. Paper Chase This one is so simple but so effective. Simply fold paper doilies in half across twine and you’re done! (Perhaps glue in the middle, if you’re expecting a breeze). This might be too simplistic for some, but paired with chic rustic details and a laid back vibe and this is the perfect overhead adornment for an alfresco ceremony or back-yard bash. 9. Wild and Wispy Traditional bunting hangs neatly in a straight line, but we like to stray from tradition a little around here. Instead of classic fabric bunting, opt for a paper card, in sharp skinny cuts. Not only will this give you a new take on the trend, but it will allow you to create a rougher, more feathery texture to your bunting. 10. Ball Tassel Bunting For a bohemian feel to your bash, why not opt for a ball tassel bunting? Okay so this one is technically a garland, but these pretty strings are cheap to buy at most haberdashery stores and can work as a textured bunting string, as well as a feature all on their own. Mix and match colours and hang at different heights for an eclectic yet stylish finish. Bonus! (Because we can’t get enough of bunting) 11. All White If you love bunting, but think it can sometimes look more shabby, than chic, why not opt for some single-hued strings? Choose for a classic white, or pick another colour from your palette, and go with that. Bunting has a nifty way of tying all your styling together, so a single colour will give your occasion an utterly polished finished. 12. Printed Bunting For a more personalised touch - why not have wedding bunting flags printed by Asset Print. Add your wedding details, photos or initials to your printed bunting, or have them designed to be message/ wedding wishes ‘cards.'
Article source: https://bridalmusings.com/59642/10-ways-bunting-unique-ideas-adorn-wedding/ I’ve noticed that the general public, especially folks who work in online marketing, cast a very narrow view of print.
They seem to view our dynamic industry through biased blinders that cause them to reach false conclusions about print’s future. Surely some of these folks deliberately downplay print’s value, yet I believe we’re also dealing with a fundamental flaw in human reasoning. Printing and cognitive psychology The flaw I’m describing likely doesn’t fit the way you view yourself and your decision-making process. You see we all tend to think of ourselves as rational beings partly due to the lingering effects of Enlightenment principles. Capitalism and the U.S. Constitution are byproducts of Enlightenment theories in that both systems are built on the premise that humans make carefully calculated decisions based on rational self-interest. Anyone who works in marketing knows that’s not an accurate description of human behaviour. More often than not, irrational emotional triggers guide our actions while subconscious mental short cuts derail our thoughts. Now I’m not here to pass judgment; I’m as guilty as the rest of you. In fact, there’s not a lot we can do to prevent our leaps of logic, although we have the ability to control our reaction to them. These short cuts known as heuristics serve an evolutionary purpose, so they’re not all bad. They help us process a large number of stimuli quickly and break it down into simple parts we can understand. We only run into trouble when our brains use heuristics to oversimplify a complex topic, such as the state of print media. For example, most of us naturally associate the word ‘print’ with paper products used for mass communications i.e. publishing (books, newspapers, and magazines). Trouble is that printed books and magazines represent a small fraction of total print production. We encounter print in many forms on a daily basis, we just don’t connect our experiences with the term print media. 14 examples of print you encounter every day Try a little experiment to test my theory: ask your friends or better yet a complete stranger about print’s role in their lives. They’ll probably respond with a negative observation about how print’s declining or even dying out. Part of this undoubtedly stems from people parroting so-called tech experts. But I’d wager the true culprit would be the availability heuristic. In a nutshell, we look for consistency in our environments. The things we see as widely available to us, we assume there’s a high probability that they’ll be there tomorrow. The opposite also occurs wherein we presume that an observed instance of scarcity signifies that something is disappearing completely. This affects the perception of print in 2 ways. First off, people already see print in a limited context. They hear the word print, and they immediately think of books and magazines. Then they assume that since there are less printed publications in front of their faces, the entire medium must be on its way out. I bet when you pose the question, the average person will proceed to explain that print’s on its way out despite the fact that they’re literally surrounded by print pieces. I love-hate to burst your bubble, but print’s got a lot more to offer than newspapers (no offence to newspapers or other forms of publishing mind you). Don’t believe me? Here’s a list of 14 types of print media that you deal with on the daily: #1) Outdoor signage (banners, yard signs, road signs, etc.) #2) Billboards #3) Car wraps and magnets #5) Point of Purchase displays (retail) #6) Product packaging #7) Labels and price tags #8) Hangtags for apparel/clothing #9) Stickers (sticker printing is actually an excellent way to market your business/ brand) #10) All types of mail (postcards, letters, direct mail campaigns) #11) Posters #12) Catalogs #13) Restaurant menus #14) Promotional flyers Remember the importance of quality printed marketing - no one is going to pay attention to a poorly designed and cheaply printed flyer or fading posters. Article source: https://printingcapetown.wordpress.com/2020/02/28/if-you-think-print-marketing-has-died-out-youll-be-surprised-by-what-print-media-you-see-every-day/ Everyone who orders custom stickers and labels have a choice: paper or vinyl material?
You may already have one in mind, but if you’re unsure, we’ve laid out some of the most important points below to help you decide. The properties of vinyl stickers and labels When we say vinyl, we refer to polypropylene vinyl only. This has generally replaced PVC vinyl in the sticker printingindustry as it has all the same beneficial properties, but without the toxicity that makes PVC a concern for people and the environment. As a result, polypropylene is:
And also recyclable and safe for use on the outside of food packaging. Polypropylene vinyl stickers and labels are a bit more expensive than paper, but they have a lot of properties that customers prefer. For example, they will generally peel off in one go instead of being ripped off in smaller pieces. Many also appreciate the plastic-like finish of polypropylene. The properties of paper stickers and labels Paper still looks good, especially with a gloss or matt laminate for the desired finish. However, it’s understandably not as durable as polypropylene vinyl, as it’s not waterproof and can be ripped fairly easily. That being said, it’s usually a cheaper option than vinyl, so you can get more stickers/labels out of your budget. Some customers also prefer the finish of paper as it’s less plastic-like, and in the case of textured paper, may prefer an intentionally “rustic” effect. What about food safety for labels? This is one of the major differences between vinyl and paper for product labels. Polypropylene is safe enough for the outside of food packaging, but only the uncoated paper is 100% food-safe for direct contact with food or drink that will be consumed. For example, if you had a plastic container of food, you could put a polypropylene label on the outside. But if you wanted stickers to place on apples, then the uncoated paper would be a safer choice. There may also be situations where the sticker or label comes into direct mouth contact. For example, young children’s toys. In this case, the uncoated paper is also the safest option. The verdict:

1. Quote & Order You would have seen or spoken to a sales consultant at a printing company who suggested a size, material and finish for your label going forward. If you are happy with the price you will choose a quantity that suits your requirements and you place an order. Handy hint: Prices are volume related, so the more you order the cheaper it gets! 2. Design Before a label printing company can start printing they need to sort out your artwork. Option 1: They design a label to your specifications. For this, they need a design brief, which you will sit and cover with your consultant, think of this as a roadmap for the designer to work with, to get to exactly what you are looking for. If you have any images or logos, fonts etc this is when this will be specified. Of course, taste is a very personal thing so be as specific as you need. Rather too much information than too little. If you have labels that you’ve seen on a product or in sample packs, reference these and send them your ideas. Design is a slow and tedious process so give them a few days to send it back to you, of course, if you have many variants/SKU’s this will extend the process. When you receive your design/s back take a careful look and request any changes, special attention should be paid to spelling and content such as ingredients, instructions and layout. Option 2: You have existing artwork and would like this replicated, easy, but your printer needs it in a certain format to be able to get it print-ready. Because there are so many design packages on the market we’ve found that a High-Resolution PDF works best. Please make sure all Fonts are converted to Curves/Paths to avoid having Font substitution problems and incurring design charges. Handy hint: Remember we make use of a CMYK print process, so if you have a specific Pantone colour you’d like to use ask the consultant to look at the colour chart for the best CMYK match. Digital and Flexo are vastly different print processes and there is certain colour we cannot match exactly. 3. Digital and physical proofs and approval Once your printer has digital approval (this means you are happy with the electronic proof / design and acknowledge this on email), they move on to a physical proof. They schedule time on their press to produce a printed version of your design for final sign off of changes. To avoid delays this is normally on Semi-Gloss paper, which is our most common substrate. This is a unique offer because unlike many printers will give you a print produced on the actual press, not a desktop proofer. This simply means that what you see on the proof is what you’ll get as your final product. A point to note: The physical proof will be un-finished, this simply means that it will not be die-cut or have the varnish layer or lamination of the final product. If you are happy with the physical proof, you will sign it off and then they’re ready to roll. Handy hint: The design phase could take days or weeks, depending on how fast they can get you to a design you like. 4. Printing, Die-cutting and finishing, Rewinding With all the approvals out of the way, they move to the production phase. Your order now gets planned, printed, finished and rewound. As you can see there are quite a few steps to get through before a printing company can start printing, so make sure you have sufficient stock from your existing supplier. The good news is that once you’ve been through the initial artwork and approval phases, your job becomes a re-order. This simply means approved artwork is already in place and all you need to do is place an order for your labels at Asset Print, check the price and await delivery. A letterhead is as important as a brand, in that it represents a company and can impart a first impression to its potential customers. Therefore, the letterhead printing must look professional, otherwise people might assume the business is less competent and not one they want to have any dealings with. Working with a professional graphic designer and a printing company like Asset Print will ensure that a company gets the letterhead that they deserve.
Once the letterhead is researched and chosen, all of the stationery that the company uses must be changed to feature it. That includes changing all the stationery that the company uses for correspondence, including envelopes, any purchase orders and invoices, compliment slips, memo pads and notepads and also updating all of the business cards that are printed for company executives and sales people. It is important that all company stationery matches, as this will do much to reinforce not only the corporate image, but also what your business stands for. When everything published or sent out to clients and customers matches it give a favorable impression to those who plan to do business with them; the more professional a company looks the more business it will attract. A letterhead can also be the same as the company logo. This would necessitate even more changes such as changing the lettering on all company vehicles, the signage in front of company buildings and updating the look of the company website. In this rapidly developing world, consumers are bombarded with options. Your competitors are chanting, tugging and aggressively at war to get the same clients. If ever there was a time for you to rise up and be counted, it’s now – and you can do just that with printed flyers.
So, you have put your campaign online and are waiting for clicks… Big deal, your competitors have probably thought of the same thing and may have a bigger online ad budget than you! While the importance of the digital space cannot be underestimated, nothing beats putting a flyer in the hands of your clients and of course potentially new ones! Quick turnarounds and quality flyer printing are some of the standard benefits you can expect from Asset Print. Target your area, the people you so greatly want, by making sure your message lands in front of them. It is like personally taking your brand and promo advertising from your office chambers where they were birthed to the eyes of your potential clients. Break exposure limitations, not your budget With our flyer special, your budget – or the lack thereof – need no longer be an excuse for not taking your brand and promo advertising directly to your potential customers. It is something that is now within your reach and the high exposure benefits of it can far outweigh the low cost in the long run. Consider popular soda drinks, global restaurants and brands, they all have one thing in common; they tirelessly present themselves to their target audiences. Even though they know they are internationally recognised, they strive to remain top-of-mind by advertising where it matters. If leading blue chip companies can and do it, can you afford not to let your community know about your product and latest specials? A click can never quite be compared to a message delivered into their hands. Somehow a human touch and virtual click just aren’t the same thing. Flyers still work! Kids often have a bit of a passion for stickers! They’re one of the simplest activities you can use to keep them occupied for hours. But turn your back for five minutes, and those stickers will be slapped onto all kinds of hidden surfaces. Of course, you’ll only discover this later, when their stickiness has had time to well and truly settle in on walls, windows, and your favourite clothes. If you think it’s about time you learnt how to remove sticker glue, whether from surfaces kids have decided to ‘decorate’ or just from jars, just follow our easy guidelines below. Use a basic pencil eraser to scrub off the last few scraps of sticker residue on flat hard surfaces – their shape makes them particularly ideal for lifting small deposits of glue. Remember, however, that the sooner you deal with a sticker stain, the better – once the mark has dried in (accumulating dirt and grime in the process) you’ll find it much tougher to get rid of! How to remove sticky label residue from clothesRemoving sticker residue from clothes can actually be fairly simple:

With social and digital media creeping into everyone’s advertising campaigns, not many people opt to use traditional marketing techniques anymore. However, there is one promotional product that is still garnering interest for its marketing capabilities and other features, which are custom feather banners.
These fluttering flags are great for promoting any business, brand and even special event that you may be hosting concerts, car or trade shows, festivals, openings, company anniversaries, open houses, community events, parades, product launches or basically any outdoor or indoor event. They are very effective at attracting people not only because they flutter so much in the wind, but also because they can be custom printed to your specifications. In fact, these flags are still in demand and very much a strong promotional product because of the following reasons: 1. 24/7 advertisement It offers 24/7 brand exposure as there’s no need of taking them down after use. Besides the flags don’t lose their validity or expire after a few hours time, unlike digital marketing where you may see your feed on the network for some time, but later ends up overlapped by other digital copy. 2. Cheap If you compare advertisement costs, custom teardrop banners are much cheaper than other forms of advertising. So considering the life and longevity of these flags, and their cheap cost, you really are getting your money’s worth investing in them! 3. Minimal space Feather banners take up minimal space as even the largest flags are usually about 2.5 ft wide, making it convenient to place in small spaces. So considering cities like New York, Sydney and Mumbai that have limited space to work with, teardrop banners can effectively advertise your brand or event within 3 sq. ft. area of space. Besides, though the flags use minimal space, the font and message on them are easily viewed from afar as the flags are big in size. 4. Easy assembly The flagpole kits are so easy to assemble; you don’t even need any tools to do it. Unlike other banners that require holes to be drilled and nails hammered, you just have to telescope the flag parts together and then slide the flag onto the large pole kit. All you need are a few minutes to both assemble, and disassemble, without any tools. 5. Lightweight and portable As the poles and the flag are lightweight, it’s so easy to transport and install the flags anywhere required! Some even come with handy carrying bags to carry and set up anywhere you want, like when you are at the beach, plaza or park! feather-top-banner.jpg 6. Withstand all weather conditions Custom teardrop banners are also referred to as sail flags because they can stand up in both fair and moderate weather, of wind, snow or rain. While banners may get damaged due to strong winds, these flags are ruggedly built to withstand even strong winds. Other flagpoles may end up with its message draped and entangled around the pole where the message can’t be seen, all because of the winds. This, however, doesn’t happen with teardrop banners. In fact, some of these flags are built to even rotate with the wind which in turn helps prevent them from tipping over or tangling. So you needn’t worry about your advertisement not being seen because of poor weather. Some of the flags also have arms that help keep the pennants stretched out all the time and visible even when windy. All this shows that these flags are an intelligent choice in windy areas as they function much better than other stands in high winds. 7. Evergreen investment These flags are also a great asset to your business as they never grow old and can be used for as many years as you need. There’s no need of spending money once again years later to replace them unless they get destroyed or damaged by uncontrollable things. So these flags are a one-time advertisement investment which may bring you years of continuous returns. 8. Versatility According to your budget, you can also opt to have a row of these flags, each advertising something about your product, event or sales. If you are on a restrictive budget, then you can have a single flag printed with more information. You can then, later on, shift to more flags if needed or budget permits. Just make sure you don’t stuff the flag with too much graphics or information as it only makes the flag confusing, and may not get your message across. 9. Designing and printing There is nothing restricting you with the design for the flag. You can let your imagination flow and customize your flag as you wish. Besides, custom teardrop banners stand out from the competition because they come with custom printed graphics and font which you can use to effectively get your message across to your target audience. You can choose between flags that have its designs silk-screened or digitally transcribed to the flag. Digital printing gives you maximum choices when it comes to graphics, and it’s possible to print even a single flag if required. As the colour is not fixed in digital prints, as different computer monitors give different colours, most companies suggest using Pantone colours, as they give the closest possible colours. Digital imagery offers the added benefit of the choice of having either detailed or simple designs. This means you can choose if you want to have signs with strong backgrounds but plain logos or if you want something more intricate in your presentation. You can also choose if you want to have one or two-sided layouts. You have to choose based on the location of the flags, how much of the information you want to provide and the reason or event for the flag. There are many companies that print custom teardrop banners for you. This is a company that doesn’t even charge for your design, and also offers free shipping, which means you get even more for your money! So you can see that custom feather banners from Asset Print are indeed a wise advertisement investment. Not only are they affordable and versatile in function, once set up, but they are also out of the way and unassuming. Besides, these flags are portable, which means you can carry and place them at any venue you want to advertise about you, your business or your event.
